Applicants will be considered for the following sources of PhD funding: - EPSRC Studentships - Teaching Assistantships - DSTL Studentship Details of each type of funding can be found below. Successful candidates will be admitted to the MPhil/PhD programme in Mathematics. Studentship Description EPSRC funding will cover tuition fees at Home/EU rate plus a stipend of approximately £17,285 per annum based on the standard rate. This will be tenable for four years. Teaching Assistantships last for four years and will cover tuition fees at Home/EU rate plus a stipend of approximately £17,285 per annum based on the standard EPSRC rate. Teaching Assistants will spend up to 25% of their time teaching and marking, and the rest devoted to research towards their PhD. DSTL Studentship: to work on the project Modelling in Forensics supervised by Prof Helen Wilson ( helen.wilson@ucl.ac.uk ). This studentship will cover tuition fees at Home/EU rate plus a stipend of approximately £17,285 per annum based on the standard rate. This will be tenable for four years.
