Position: Communication Officer (*gn)
Institution: University of Luxembourg
Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Duties: Under the responsibility of the Head of Communications, the internal communications advisor will plan, implement and monitor internal communications activities at the University. These are embedded in the overall communication strategy of the University and aim to facilitate the information exchange within the organization. Main responsibilities: Draft, conceive, and execute communication activities for the University, to support the strategic goals of the institution by enhancing the information exchange within the organization, using all communication channels (text, video, audio); Support various administrative functions of the University in their communication activities; Produce clear, accurate and engaging content for the University Intranet; Cooperate with faculties and other entities across the university
Requirements: The successful candidate should have: A university degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing or related field; 3 years of professional experience in a similar role; Writing, copy editing, and proof reading experience; Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, WordPress and SEO; Knowledge of best practice in video and audio production for web and social media; Excellent written and spoken English, French and German; Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills; Excellent organisational and project management skills, flexibility and stress resistance; Be an outgoing, highly self-directed personality with the ability to work in a team or autonomously, as required
