This lab uses EEG in human and ECoG in marmoset to examine how the brain networks learn and predict statistical structures in multisensory sequences. This lab also uses EEG in human to study how brain networks support creative thinking and its incubation. Zenas Lab seeks postdocs who are interested in these topics and approaches
Requirements: Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent in a related field; Good communication skill in English (Preferred); Experience in human EEG or monkey ECoG experiments

Application Requirements Job title IRCN Postdoctoral Fellow (Project Researcher) Starting Date Negotiable Term The first contract will be ended on March 31, 2021. The contract is renewable on a fiscal year basis (from April 1 to March 31; every year) according to research activity and achievements. Contract duration is 3 years. Probationary period is 6 months from the date of arrival. Qualifications (Required) ● Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent in a related field ● Good communication skill in English (Preferred) ● Experience in human EEG or monkey ECoG experiments Compensation & Benefits ● Salary: To be determined in accordance with The University of Tokyo Regulations ● Commuter allowance: JPY55,000 per month at maximum ● Social Insurance: Eligible for MEXT* Mutual Aid Association membership, employees’ pension, employment insurance, and workers’ accident compensation insurance.
