Requirements: Applicants must have PhD in a relevant quantitative or biological subject; Previous relevant undergraduate degree in a quantitative or biological subject with significant research experience in image analysis and bioinformatics; Appropriate publication record with an essential proven ability to maintain accurate and up to date records along with understanding of the research process; Skilful and effective team work with good analytical/statistical skills. Willingness to be flexible and co-operative in order to achieve project demands

The UCL Cancer Institute is a £40 million investment in central London based at UCL, one of the worlds top universities and a founding member of the Francis Crick Institute, aimed at developing world-class basic and translational cancer research. Bringing together over 300 academic and clinical cancer researchers, and through its associations with partner NHS Trusts (UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust), the Institute has greater clinical links than any comparable Centre in the UK, creating a unique opportunity for significant impact on the delivery of clinical service to cancer patients. We are seeking someone who is able to undertake research investigations in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) in order to realise the objectives and development of the research programme. Working as part of the Major Centres research team and foster inter-institution collaboration, including supporting projects from researchers across the partner institutions. Contributing to the overall scientific endeavour of the Centre and Institute, and possibly to take responsibility for areas of other projects, as demand requires.
