Duties: UCL and MACE have won funding from Innovate UK in partnership with Imperial College London, 3D Repo Ltd, Mission Room Limited and Evifile Limited. This visionary research will create an environment for better project control to improve the performance of construction in UK infrastructure through increased transparency and project benchmarking. AEC Production Control Rooms will deliver a single focal point for any project with data accessible anytime over the Internet. The successful applicant will understand the specific user interfaces and use cases for data, research the business models for scaling and evaluate data and its visualisation on three live construction demonstration projects
Requirements: The complex nature of the project requires a candidate with insightful, reflective and critical capabilities and knowledge of supply chain integration, business models and advanced collaborative planning. The candidate should also have an understanding of current project data analytics techniques; Experience of working in a research or consultancy environment is desirable, together with stakeholder management experience to enable them to manage the partnership effectively. They will have a commitment to high-quality research and development and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team
