Position: Project Officer (m/f)

Duties: As project officer, you will report to the Head of SnT Office and your responsibilities will be: To provide high level support to SnT Director, as well as the Study program Director in executing the program activities in compliance with the plan; To set-up the operational procedures for the Master program in coordination with the Study Program Director and other competent entities; To assist in the establishment of lectures’ and examinations’ schedule; To carry out all actions needed for the enrolment of students, as well for their Master thesis management; To advise students on specific issues such as admission process, exams, Master thesis, graduation etc; To ensure availability and dissemination of information for students, teaching staff and all stakeholders via the appropriate means (e.g. mailing lists, website, brochures); To synchronize with other departments for organizing events aimed at increasing awareness of the Space Master and the Space research activities in Luxembourg; To provide support for the development and maintenance of network with industrial space partners, in close collaboration with the TTO (Technology Transfer Office); To act as a first contact point for Professors, external teaching staff and any other stakeholders for information about the study program and the research activities; To ensure periodic project reporting and provide ad hoc reports, upon request
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in research and project management; Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered as an asset; Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; Proven ability for multitasked work; Computer literate and thorough hands-on experience with software; Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable in a multicultural environment; Self-motivated, able to set one’s own objectives and requirements

SnT is carrying out interdisciplinary research and innovations in secure, reliable and trustworthy ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) systems and services, often in collaboration with industrial, governmental or international partners. SnT has developed a broad and effective partnership program, currently made of more than 50 industrial and institutional partners located in Luxembourg and in Europe. SnT is active in several international research projects funded by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR), Horizon 2020 program, the European Space Agency and the European Defense Agency. SnT has recently taken over the project of launching the Interdisciplinary Master Study Course and Research in Space System and Resources. For that purpose, SnT is reinforcing its administrative team and is looking for one (1) experienced and motivated individual to carry out the activities related to the Research and the Master Study Course in Space System and Resources.
