Position: Postdoctoral researcher in Migration and/or Labour economics (PRIDE) (M/F)

Duties: The post-doctoral researcher will be working within the Centre for Research in Economics and Management and be part of the MINLAB Doctoral Training Unit (DTU) funded by the FNR and comprising 13 PhD students working on topics related to M igration, IN equality and LAB our markets; The post-doc researcher will be under the supervision of the two coordinators Prof. Michel Beine and Prof. Arnaud Dupuy and work on a joint research project on the impact of skills-jobs matching migration policies on labor market mismatches and wage inequality; While the main tasks of the candidate include writing academic papers, participating actively in the life of the department (e.g. seminars, workshops), and interacting with the Ph.D. candidates, especially within the MINLAB group, the candidate is also expected to be involved in the dissemination of knowledge created within the MINLAB DTU. This may consist in helping implementing the lectures series and workshops proposed by the DTU, proposing initiatives to organize and extend the network of researchers and academics from the international research community on the topic, and developed social media and communications tools that will support the prompt and wide dissemination of our outputs; Teaching is not compulsory but can be arranged upon request within the Doctoral School in Economics and Finance
Requirements: PhD degree in Economics with strong background in migration and/or labour economics; Very good English language skills; Willingness to work in an inter-cultural and international environment; Curiosity and self-motivation; Team-oriented
