Position: Research Assistant/Research Fellow Medical Statistician (Clinical Trials)

Duties: The Unit undertakes world-class research, and we are committed to strengthening and expanding the evidence base for healthcare both nationally and internationally, delivering innovative research that can really make a difference; The successful candidate will be working within a friendly multi-disciplinary trial team as well as working as part of a wider group of statisticians, with opportunities for skills and career development, both in statistics and more broadly in research careers
Requirements: The successful candidates will have an enthusiastic approach, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. They should have a good understanding of statistical concepts and familiarity with one or more statistical packages, and a good understanding of randomised controlled trial principles; Practical experience of statistical methods in analysing trial would be an advantage, as would experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and preparing/presenting reports
   
Text: Research Assistant/ Research Fellow Medical Statistician (Clinical Trials), - Ref:1859529 Click here to go back to search results Apply Now UCL Department / Division MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL Location of position London Grades 6-7 Hours Full Time Salary (inclusive of London allowance) (Grade 6B) £31,479 - £33,194 per anunm (Grade 7) £35,965 - £43,470 per annum Duties and Responsibilities Join one of the countrys leading Clinical Trials Units The MRC Clinical Trials Unit at University College London is an international centre of excellence for clinical trials and associated research, undertaking the design, conduct, analysis and reporting of multi-centre studies, resolving internationally important questions in infectious diseases and cancer, and delivering swifter and more effective translation of scientific research in to patient benefits. We achieve this by carrying out challenging and innovative studies, and developing and implementing new methodologies in trial conduct, design and analysis. The Unit undertakes world-class research, and we are committed to strengthening and expanding the evidence base for healthcare both nationally and internationally, delivering innovative research that can really make a difference. These post's are available until June 2022 in the first instance.
