Position: Actuarial Data Scientist

Requirements: Tertiary qualification (ideally Master or PhD), preferably in (Insurance) Mathematics or Data Science; Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, problem solving ability; Proven expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence methods is required; Programming experience in Python is a must, R would be a plus Experience with handling databases (SQL) would be beneficial; Software development orientation is a plus; (agile, Git) Experience/Knowledge with Spark would be beneficial
   
Text: Job Purpose/Role As an actuarial data scientist in Group Actuarial, Planning and Controlling - Actuarial Non-Life (GAPC-NL) you will develop solutions for analyzing and estimating claims experience. You will focus on predictive analytics and use machine learning approaches to implement state-of-the-art solutions. You will be part of a small team and collaborate closely with international data scientists and data engineers. You will keep up to date with industry and data science standards and build bridges to the traditional actuarial world.
