Position: Underwriting support
Institution: Helvetia Versicherungen Schweiz
Location: Zürich, Switzerland
Duties: Process new and renewal business and enter contracts in systems accurately and within established time frames; Correspond with brokers and clients on all administrative/accounting issues independently; Review administration correspondence, following up to obtain complete necessary information; Gathers and organizes information and reports (e.g., loss runs, risk assessments, and loss ratios) that support the underwriting decision; Maintain insurance licenses in good standing, assist when needed in resolving customer service issues; May review incoming insurance submissions for accuracy and completeness; Schedule 90% - 100%
Requirements: Ideally insurance proven record and knowledge of the insurance industry and its products and services; Relevant training and experience in the administrative/financial customer service (insurance business) within risk management area; Analytical skills and ability to make decisions independently; Articulate and flawless oral and written communication skills in English and German (other languages are advantage); Proficient computer skills, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
