Duties: Provide organizational, operational, and implementation support to the AO CMF Community Development team with the rollout of a new AO CMF Project “AO Academy”, a collaborative project with the Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt geared at connecting AO CMF surgery experts with surgeons in the Middle East and North Africa through online education, educational support of surgical educational programs, and instant peer case consulting and mentoring; Lead the creation of the online educational environment for the project through implementation of existing educational content into an LMS and the “myAO” App; Directly support involved surgical experts with the related online tools and channels; Provide operational support, organization and communication to the faculty as well as online audience
Requirements: A university degree in media informatics, communications, digital marketing, or business administration with a strong understanding of current communication and online learning technology; Excellent written and verbal English language skills (preferably native speaker) with a natural talent for engaging storytelling and content creation; Professional experience as marketing and communication specialist, especially in digital marketing and communications, preferably in a global organization; Proven track record in creative idea generation and development; The ability to effectively work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently within allocated resources. Furthermore, you have strong organizational skills and good attention to detail; Must: Adobe Creative Cloud user knowledge

Founded in 1958 by a group of visionary surgeons, today, the AO has a global network of 200,000 health care professionals. Each year it offers over 830 educational events around the world, which are supported by nearly 9,000 faculty and are attended by over 58,000 participants. It has 20,000 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial (CMF), veterinary, and reconstructive surgery. AO CMF is a multispecialty community, established in 1974, consisting of a worldwide network of clinicians from the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, head and neck surgery, ophthalmology, and neurosurgery. The AO CMF community embodies a unique culture of teaching and learning, combined with research and development. To meet the intensified and more complex communication challenges of the Clinical Division AO CMF, we look for an Online Membership Development Expert on a limited contractor relationship, located in our Dübendorf office. In this role you will be required to Provide organizational, operational, and implementation support to the AO CMF Community Development team with the rollout of a new AO CMF Project “AO Academy”, a collaborative project with the Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt geared at connecting AO CMF surgery experts with surgeons in the Middle East and North Africa through online education, educational support of surgical educational programs, and instant peer case consulting and mentoring. Lead the creation of the online educational environment for the project through implementation of existing educational content into an LMS and the “myAO” App. Directly support involved surgical experts with the related online tools and channels. Provide operational support, organization and communication to the faculty as well as online audience. In general, in relation to the online activity of AO CMF: Provide operational support to the manager and collaborate with the communication specialist with regards to various online projects under the "AO Academy" umbrella. Support with production of various marketing collaterals, including print and video. Support AO CMF’s digital image, including the development of online reputation and brand awareness. Support with online advertising and communications related to "AO Academy" activities. Experience and understanding of drafting and conducting online surveys, including interpretation of data and taking appropriate action. Proven track record of managing projects in the online space and building engagement through targeted marketing campaigns. Operational knowledge of digital marketing and online education and comfortable with creating online marketing campaigns using a compelling combination of visuals, text and infographics.
