Position: Research Scientist in Sociolinguistics (M/F)

Duties: Carry out sociolinguistic research concerning language variation and change in Luxembourg and its relation to multilingualism; Develop tools and methods for the analysis of Luxembourgish as a low resource language; Contribute to the institute’s crowdsourcing and citizen science activities; Disseminate research results in (international) conferences and journals; Contribute to teaching in study programs of FLSHASE (humanities)
Requirements: Excellent PhD degree or equivalent in linguistics; Strong expertise in sociolinguistic methods; Excellent knowledge of statistical methods for quantitative analyses; Excellent command of English and German (written and spoken), Luxembourgish is an asset
