Position: Doctoral candidate (PhD student): Autonomous Orchestration and Management of Beyond 5G Wireless Networks (M/F)

Duties: The position holder will be required to perform the following tasks: Carrying out research in the predefined areas; Disseminating results through scientific publications; Presenting results in the well-known international conferences and workshops
Requirements: The candidate should possess an M.Sc./M.Eng. degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering. Experience: The ideal candidate should have some knowledge and experience in some of the following topics: Cross-layer resource allocation and flow management in virtualized wireless networks; Network and/or resource slicing; Machine learning/deep learning techniques and tools; Coexistence of eMBB, mMTC and URLLC Services; Software defined networking based design; Graph signal processing for wireless networks; and be familiar with the principles of; Machine learning/Deep learning; Graph theory; Optimization theory; Linear algebra; Programming skills: MATLAB, Python or C++. Language Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
