Duties: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Research Nurse to assist with the running of clinical research studies. The main areas of responsibility of the post are the recruitment of patients to studies, the collection of data, maintenance of study site files and case report forms, while supporting patient care. The post-holder will have individual responsibility for leading on their own group of studies within the research group portfolio and will be part of a team managing patients undergoing treatment for viral hepatitis in the clinic
Requirements: Active professional registration as a nurse is essential; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral); Excellent cooperative team working and organisational skills; Experience in gathering and analysing data in clinical research/clinical trials; Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of research trial design, regulatory processes; governing research and clinical trial management; The highest ethical and professional standards in research and education; It is desirable for the post-holder to be educated to degree level with a research or postgraduate qualification

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Research Nurse to assist with the running of clinical research studies. The main areas of responsibility of the post are the recruitment of patients to studies, the collection of data, maintenance of study site files and case report forms, while supporting patient care. The post-holder will have individual responsibility for leading on their own group of studies within the research group portfolio and will be part of a team managing patients undergoing treatment for viral hepatitis in the clinic. The post will provide a broad experience of clinical research for a nurse with clinical experience relevant to the interests of the group. The post-holder will be responsible to Dr Lele Rangaka. The post is based at the Mortimer Market Centre, off Capper Street, London WC1E 6JB. The post is available immediately with funding agreed for 12 months in the first instance.
