Duties: The post holder will be expected to plan and execute a range of machine learning and data science approaches to discover, validate and curate sub-phenotypes of disease. The post holder will be expected to author a number of high-impact peer reviewed research publications in clinical journals (such as the Lancet) with an opportunity also to publish in relevant machine learning and computer science journals (such as JAMIA) and conferences (such as NeurIPS or ICML); The purpose of this role is to contribute to the HDR UK Phenomics stream of research through the development and application of novel analytical and curation techniques
Requirements: This post will suite an experience data scientist with extensive knowledge in the Python stack, manipulating and analysing large multi- dimensional data-sets and relational databases including SQL or similar programming languages and with a proven track record
