The post holder will be based in one or more of the Biological Services Facilities at UCL and will be expected to be able to work unsupervised after induction. Duties will include the daily cleaning and maintaining of laboratory animals/cages, including transgenic animals, as well as contributing to the upkeep of the wider facility
Requirements: Experience in animal care and welfare in a research animal environment; Experience of transgenic breeding; Ability to communicate effectively; Display an ability to work effectively within a group

The department is composed of around 80 staff based across a number of sites in London. We work collaboratively with researchers to deliver an outstanding service and ensure that a high standard of animal welfare is maintained throughout.
