Position: Senior Policy Advisor (Academic Partnerships)

Duties: We are looking for a Senior Policy Advisor (Academic Partnerships) to join the Academic Policy and Quality Assurance Team within our Academic Services Division. This is a maternity cover role, which is available until October 2020; You will provide expert advice to senior members of university staff on the management and regulatory oversight of academic partnerships and lead a small team with responsibility for reviewing and advising on proposals to introduce, amend or renew academic partnerships; You will also lead on the development of new academic policies and regulations relating to degree apprenticeships
Requirements: You will have substantial experience of working in a policy development role in higher education, and a good knowledge of policies and developments in relation to developing and managing academic partnerships; Knowledge of the regulatory environment for degree apprenticeships would be an advantage; You will be able to formulate clear and practical advice on complex issues both orally and in writing, and be able to liaise with a wide range of people at all levels with tact and diplomacy
