Position: Project Manager - student life projects (m/f)

Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Duties: You will report directly to the CIO. As part of your role, it is expected: As a Project Manager (PM): to ensure timely monitoring of project execution; As a PM for special projects: to own the execution and the success of certain projects; This job includes the following responsibilities, but are not limited to: Develop overview of all the projects under your responsibility; Define scope & planning of project; Define communication plan and perform communication with all stakeholders; Manage risk & issues along the project; Coordinate the Project Team; Track & report on project progress and performance; Track & report resource consumption vs. planned (finance, HR, …); Ensure adhesion of the organization and buy-in of the users; Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with the student organizations; Support teammates whenever needed to ensure project success; Support team mates in implementation and follow-up of the project; Accompany, support and guide the supervision and the quality control of the technical works and activities of projects; Act as a single point of contact on project; Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers and partners of the University with respect to business objectives and constraints; Propose improvements of currently available services in order to enhance performance and availability; Ensure policy implementation by all participants of the University’s ecosystem
Requirements: Degree in Business/Management and/or Communications with 5 years of experience; Strong experience in HRM, in IT-related projects; Proven track record in Project Management; Proven track record in successful project implementation; Good understanding of the requirements of modern IT needs in higher education environment; Real team player used to evolve in a high-level expectations environment; Excellent problem-solving skills in very complex environment; Open-minded to innovative solutions; Strong communication skills, ability to present highly technical issues verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels in the organization; Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives; Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere/Illustrator; Experience with Confluence (Atlassian), ServiceNow is an asset; Proficient in English, French and Luxembourgish is an asset; Very familiar with the ecosystem of Luxembourg in general and of the University of Luxembourg in particular; Self-starter and self-motivated, who takes own initiatives and has a high drive and motivation with a positive attitude
