Requirements: Candidates should hold a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in statistics or a closely related field. It is essential that the successful candidate has a proven record of ability to carry out high quality research in a branch of probability or statistics, including publications in highly regarded peer-reviewed journals; the ability to construct and deliver lecture courses on topics relevant to the needs of the department and excellent communication skills
