Position: Pro Vice Provost (Postgraduate Education)

Duties: We are now seeking a very experienced senior academic to work alongside the Vice Provost (Education and Student Affairs) and join the Pro Vice Provost team to accelerate our transformation of key aspects postgraduate taught education. As a senior academic you will work with key colleagues in faculties (departments, divisions and institutes) to drive transformational change in the delivery and outcomes of postgraduate taught education
Requirements: The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience in an academic context, preferably an education context, and a track record in providing effective academic oversight of large scale change projects. Champion and provide strategic leadership on postgraduate taught education at UCL capture in objective five of the Education Strategy 2016 - 2021: to review and strengthen our postgraduate taught (PGT) provision in response to our changing demographics; A PhD or equivalent, with significant experience of research and teaching in an academic context, highly effective stakeholder management skills in a large, complex and devolved environment, and great influencing and communication skills and the ability to navigate competing priorities are also required

Postgraduate taught programmes at UCL have expanded rapidly and the Education Strategy 2016 2021 commits us to reviewing all aspects of our provision.
