Position: Teaching Fellow in Urban Planning

Requirements: The post-holder will have, or will have submitted (for examination) a PhD and will have experience of teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate classes across the field of urban planning. Experience in a variety of forms of teaching delivering lectures, leading seminars and supporting or leading projects is essential. A research/teaching focus on planning regulation, systems and law is desirable as it is likely that the post-holder will be asked to lead, or play a substantial part in delivering, undergraduate and postgraduate modules in this area

The School wishes to appoint a fixed term (9 months) teaching fellows in urban planning. The post is available from 1 December 2019 until 31 August 2020. The post-holder will be providing maternity / sabbatical leave cover. The post holder is required to teach at undergraduate and graduate level in areas allocated by the Head of School, making contributions to project and lecture based classes across the field of urban planning, with a particular focus on planning regulation, systems and law; The Teaching Fellow will supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate and taught graduate (Masters) students. The appointed candidates will be able to contribute to a range of project and lecture based courses as well as perform other support and administrative duties in the School. The start date for this post will be 1st December 2019.
