Position: HR Recruitment Manager
Institution: European Molecular Biology Laboratory
Location: Heidelberg, Germany
Duties: In close cooperation with the hiring managers, you will be responsible for the full talent acquisition/recruitment process, supported by our e-recruitment/ATS system. Tasks include: Managing and providing advice on the procedures related to TA/e-recruitment within defined working areas: identifying requirements, preparing and placing vacancy advertisements, setting up, organising, carrying out the selection process, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, assessing, identifying and hiring; proactively sourcing and nurturing talent to ensure an ongoing flow of prospective candidates (planning and strategy, workforce segmentation, employment branding, candidate audience, candidate relationship management and metrics/analytics); Negotiating bulk deals with job boards and advertising agencies; Working closely with recruitment agencies if applicable; Participating in projects to further develop internal recruitment processes to ensure that talent acquisition strategies, procedures and techniques are effective and up-to-date (Sourcing Scope, Employer Branding, Candidate Experience, Social Networking/Recruiting, LinkedIn Active Sourcing, Online Marketing, agile e-recruiting model, HR Technologies and Digitalisation, Talent Analytics, AI and Automation, ...); Preparing reports and statistics; Administering the e-recruitment/ATS system as technical expert (incl. supporting backend and frontend users, implement new functions/developments, troubleshooting) in collaboration with colleagues; Representing EMBL at international recruiting events; Training and supervising recruitment trainees; Working closely with the HR Advisors in supporting dedicated organizational units and/or EMBL sites; Contributing to the overall performance of the HR function by proposing solutions and participating in projects and by liaising with other functions in the administration as well as external service suppliers; Performing standard administrative tasks related to the TA/recruitment process; Performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements: We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Professional who can demonstrate credibility and the ability to develop strong relationships. The successful candidate must have a university degree (Master or equivalent) with at least 5 years of working experience in HR, and out of those 3 years with a focus on TA/recruitment, ideally at international level.Key competencies and required skills are: strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and to stick to fixed time schedules; the ability to work in a team as well as independently; strong customer orientation to provide a quality service for staff at all levels in the organisation; very good analytical and evaluative skills; the ability to conduct independent research; very good computer skills with proficiency in MS office applications, reporting tools, Internet; demonstrated experience of working with e-recruitment/ATS systems; excellent spoken and written English
