The research fellow's research will focus on developing statistical methodology for analysing DNA methylation data through the development/testing of Bayesian change-point models. The research fellow will have the opportunity to interact with members of the Medical Genomics Research Group at the UCL Cancer Institute. The project is an inter-disciplinary undertaking. The post is available immediately and is funded for 12 months in the first instance. Key Requirements Candidates should hold or be close to submitting a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in Statistics, or a closely related field. Appointment at Grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD; if this is not the case, initial appointment will be at research assistant Grade 6B (salary £30,922 - £32,607 per annum) with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD thesis.
