Duties: The UCL School of Pharmacy Library is devoted to supporting the teaching, learning and research taking place at the UCL School of Pharmacy; The chief responsibility of this term-time only post is to assist in staffing enquiry and help points. The work requires contact with Library users, visitors and Library Services staff, providing clerical support for all library functions and facilities, with a focus on customer-facing services, as directed by the Deputy Librarian and also involves moving heavy book trolleys and some lifting of heavy material
Requirements: Applicants will need to have 5 GCSEs (grade A* - C) or equivalent. They should have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a wide range of people as well as experience of customer service work. Experience of working with and using biomedical information resources is desirable
