Duties: The Centre for Research on Evolution, Search and Testing (CREST) is research-oriented Centre in the Department of Computer Science at UCL and runs the ERC EPIC grant. The overall aim of the role will be to continually seek and improve ways of minimising administrative overhead and academics on the project, thereby freeing them to focus more fully on the scientific objectives of the project
Requirements: The applicant needs to have experience of providing PA and secretarial support plus event planning and management. Experience of working within an Administrative role within the Higher Education Sector or similar would be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people from external stakeholders, research funders and professional staff to students are necessary

The overall aim of the role will be to continually seek and improve ways of minimising administrative overhead and academics on the project, thereby freeing them to focus more fully on the scientific objectives of the project. The role will be funded to September 2022 in the first instance and will deliver a Professional administrative support for the EPIC project team and the Centre. Key Requirements The applicant needs to have experience of providing PA and secretarial support plus event planning and management. Experience of working within an Administrative role within the Higher Education Sector or similar would be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people from external stakeholders, research funders and professional staff to students are necessary.
