Position: User Experience (UX) Analyst

Duties: The UX Analyst undertakes operational functions, tasks and ongoing development of the services aimed at current students at Curtin. This role directly impacts the Digital Student Experience at Curtin and actively seeks to improve effective customer service delivery. The position assists Curtin staff to deliver better services to current students through digital channels such as Curtin’s student portal (OASIS), web and mobile applications, official communication channels, student management web applications (eStudent, eAcademic, eApplications), Student webpages, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Your duties will include but are not limited to analysis and functional testing of online applications, planning and coordinating exploratory customer research and user testing, prototyping, triaging and troubleshooting student and staff queries, configuration and administration of digital platforms and identifying opportunities for process improvement. for further information please refer to the
Requirements: Demonstrated analytical and research skills with ability to produce high-quality UX research and design work such as user journeys, wireframes, concept sketches and prototypes; Demonstrated experience in, or understanding of, digital application and platforms testing and quality assurance; Completion of a relevant degree with experience in digital user experience improvement and customer service/support, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training; Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment and with students, staff and external parties at all levels; Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills with ability to produce quality written work and to present research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders; Demonstrated knowledge of agile project management principles with the ability to facilitate the development team in achieving its goals; Experience in (or knowledge of) information design and developing content for digital channels, including how to “write for the web.”; Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
