Position: Lecturer in Nanoscale Characterisation

Duties: The London Centre for Nanotechnology and the Department of Chemistry jointly seek to recruit an emerging leader in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, complementing and/or strengthening research on nanoscale characterisation; The candidate will be expected to attract research funding to support their own research programme, contribute to teaching and undertake the administrative duties expected of a member of academic staff. They will also be expected to raise funds in order to support their research programme, postdoctoral research staff and PhD students
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a PhD in an area of physical sciences, engineering, or life sciences with strong relevance to nanoscale characterisation. They will have an appropriate background to make signification contribution to research in the nanoscale characterisation, broadly interpreted, and have the ability to develop an independent research agenda
