Your new role As a Research Associate, you will work on an unconventional gas research project with the overall objective of developing and defining strategies to mitigate a number of key technical challenges associated with the hydraulic fracturing operation. As part of this role you will: work on the quantification and optimization of key parameters of the fracturing stimulation plan that are expected to impact on the gas recovery and production rates using numerical simulation, take active role in the design, development, numerical modelling/simulation and sensitivity study of Hydraulic Fracturing for both vertical and multistage fractured horizontal wells, as key factors towards the development of a framework for the optimum development of an unconventional gas reservoir, contribute towards the acquisition and analysis of the laboratory measured data as required for the construction, tuning and successful execution of the numerical simulation models and the eventual optimization of the hydraulic fracture stimulation plan.
