Apply online The Water Technology Section is one of the five sections comprising the Department: Land, Air & Water Resources, Residual Resource Engineering, Urban Water Systems, Environmental Fate and Effect of Chemicals, and Water Technology. The Water Technology Section focuses on processes and technology for treating a range of water types by biological, chemical, physical and electrochemical approaches. The scales range from molecular, over laboratory and pilot scale to full-scale technical systems and include experimentation, monitoring and modelling. The purpose of the position is to assist with projects on the application of chemical, physical and biological processes for the remediation of various types of water. The position includes water analysis and method development for such methods. The research assistant will participate in several projects, where they will be working with the experimental plan and execution, as well as the analysis of samples and the interpretation of the results.
