Requirements: The successful candidate for this position will have a PhD, or a final stage doctoral thesis in a discipline that focuses on the analysis of spatial data and modelling and an excellent understanding of the content of the modules to be covered. Good programming skills, particularly Python in a unix environment, is essential

The Department wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow in the area of remote sensing/spatial data to provide teaching to the MSc Remote Sensing and Environmental Modelling and specialist undergraduate modules in similar areas. The post is cover for a permanent member of staff and is available for one year with a start date of 16 September 2019.
