Position: Fundraiser (m/f)

Duties: The Fundraiser will sustain existing and future fundraising activities and will explore new potential stakeholder and donors. You will closely work together with the communication team at LCSB and the university central fundraising office
Requirements: Master degree, either in a field relevant to fundraising (marketing, communications, etc.) or in life sciences; PhD is considered to be an advantage; Min 2 years of experience in a comparable environment and role; Excellent writing and communication; Team player, diplomatic relationship manager and networker with excellent interpersonal skills; Fluency in English, and a good level in French and German. Fluency in Luxembourgish is a strong asset; Excellent organizational and good project management skills; Ability to juggle multiple tasks with superb accuracy and achieve deadlines under pressure; Very good analytical and problem solving skills with orientation to detail; Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality; Reliable, intuitive, creative and proactive

The LCSB is looking for a: Fundraiser (m/f) Ref: I1-50014406 Permanent contract (CDI), full-time ( 40 hours/week) Employee status Starting date: as soon as possible Mission The Fundraiser will sustain existing and future fundraising activities and will explore new potential stakeholder and donors. You will closely work together with the communication team at LCSB and the university central fundraising office. Your Role Contribute to the LCSB fundraising strategy Work with donors Relationship management with existing donors Identify and develop relationship with new private donors Work with foundations / trusts Identify relevant new foundations /trusts Prepare proposals and communication material for foundations /trusts External communication Organize fundraising related events and visits Participate in the preparation of fundraising materials Participate in off-site events Update UL fundraising webpage with news and events Internal communication (LCSB) Work with researchers regularly to be aware of projects in need of funding Advise and prepare researchers for meetings with existing/potential donors Liaise with the central fundraising office Operational and budget activities Manage process and administrative tasks related to incoming donations Prepare management information and budget reports Manage the donor database Oversee donation pipeline Contribute to improvements of the LCSB fundraising process and tools Your Profile Master degree, either in a field relevant to fundraising (marketing, communications, etc.) or in life sciences; PhD is considered to be an advantage Min 2 years of experience in a comparable environment and role Excellent writing and communication Team player, diplomatic relationship manager and networker with excellent interpersonal skills Fluency in English, and a good level in French and German.
