Position: Data Analyst

Duties: An exciting opportunity exists for a Data Analyst to join our vibrant People and Culture team. Working with a multitude of stakeholders and data sets, this role works with our analytics team to source, interpret and analyse data in support of decisions meeting strategic and operational needs. You will apply appropriate tools and techniques to extract, manipulate and interrogate data from multiple sources whilst identifying trends and insights for action as well as creating visualisation appropriate to the audience for problem solving
Requirements: A degree in quantitative discipline and relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training Demonstrated experience in using relational database systems and query tools for data interrogation, extraction and presentation. Demonstrated analytical and diagnostic skills as well as accuracy and attention to detail. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into reports or visualizations that can be understood by a variety of audiences. Proven ability to organise time and work activities according to priorities and to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Advanced excel user (Power BI, SQL) Data Visualisation exposure and experience (eg SAS, Power BI or Tableau) Open-source languages for data cleansing, manipulation and analysis (eg R and Python) An enquiring and curious mind to understand and breakdown complex business and people data scenarios to determine the appropriate data and analysis required
