Position: Paralegal Officer

Duties: Drafting and amending of legal documents such as collaboration agreements, service agreements, and other kind of agreements under supervision of Legal advisors. Assisting in preparing for a dossier: gathering relevant information to the case, researching the facts of the case, identifying the appropriate laws, agreement clauses, and legal articles relevant to the case. Handling administrative tasks such as contract signing and filing, maintaining internal electronic database, tracking and organizing reference files. Regular summary reporting as well as ad hoc reporting from internal databases
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in law. Several years’ experience in similar position, preferably in a research or academic environment. Excellent written communication skills in English and French legal language. Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to details and accuracy. Proficiency with modern office software and content management systems. Team player, able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, capable of coping with strict deadlines
   
Text: UOL02762 25-May-2019 Company Text The University of Luxembourg is looking within its Legal office at the Central administration Paralegal officer (m/f) Ref : 50014349 Fixed-term contract, 1 year, 40 hours/week Employee status Your Role The paralegal officer will be in charge of following tasks for the Legal office: Drafting legal documents and control Drafting and amending of legal documents such as collaboration agreements, service agreements, and other kind of agreements under supervision of Legal advisors. Drafting service agreements with individuals upon request and review/double-check with HR, Finance and Research Support Department if any Performing basic KYC-due diligence and controls Legal reporting Assisting in preparing for a dossier: gathering relevant information to the case, researching the facts of the case, identifying the appropriate laws, agreement clauses, and legal articles relevant to the case. Assisting in monitoring and reviewing relevant government and corporate regulations. Assisting in gathering and analyzing information and preparing of written reports. Legal Office administration Handling administrative tasks such as contract signing and filing, maintaining internal electronic database, tracking and organizing reference files. Regular summary reporting as well as ad hoc reporting from internal databases. Coordinating internal logistics of the legal department, including coordination with other teams across the University as well as with external parties. Drafting and organizing internal and external correspondence. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in law Several years’ experience in similar position, preferably in a research or academic environment Excellent written communication skills in English and French legal language.
