Position: Senior Paralegal Officer

Duties: Drafting and amending of legal documents such as accreditation agreements, service agreements, and other kind of agreements with the collaboration of the central Legal department. Performing basic KYC-due diligence and quality controls. Preparing for a dossier: gathering relevant information to the case, researching the facts of the case, identifying the appropriate laws, agreement clauses, and legal articles relevant to the case. Monitoring and reviewing relevant government and corporate regulations to be applied at the Faculty level. Handling administrative tasks such as contract signing and filing, maintaining internal electronic database, tracking and organizing reference files
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in law or relevant working experience. Several years’ of experience in a similar position, preferably in a research or academic environment. Excellent written communication skills in English and French legal language. Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to details and accuracy. Proficiency with modern office software and content management systems. Able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, capable of coping with strict deadlines

Your Role Drafting legal documents and control Drafting and amending of legal documents such as accreditation agreements, service agreements, and other kind of agreements with the collaboration of the central Legal department Performing basic KYC-due diligence and quality controls Drafting standard operational procedures and policies for the Faculty Legal reporting Preparing for a dossier: gathering relevant information to the case, researching the facts of the case, identifying the appropriate laws, agreement clauses, and legal articles relevant to the case Monitoring and reviewing relevant government and corporate regulations to be applied at the Faculty level Gathering and analyzing information and preparing of written reports Legal Office administration Handling administrative tasks such as contract signing and filing, maintaining internal electronic database, tracking and organizing reference files Regular summary reporting as well as ad hoc reporting from internal databases Coordinating internal logistics of the legal department, including coordination with other teams across the University as well as with external parties Drafting and organizing internal and external correspondence Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in law or relevant working experience Several years’ of experience in a similar position, preferably in a research or academic environment Excellent written communication skills in English and French legal language.
