Duties: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Assembly Technician to join the Electronics Engineering Group at the Department of Space and Climate Physics (Mullard Space Science Laboratory) to support the Laboratory’s space science instrumentation programme. The Electronic Engineering Group consists of design engineers working on a diverse range of electronic disciplines supported by PCB layout and assembly groups. The successful applicant will work within the Electronics group Flight PCB assembly environment
Requirements: The post holder should have current ESA certificates for through hole and surface mount assembly, substantial ESA flight Printed Circuit Board assembly experience, the ability to understand electronic components symbols, attention to detail and the ability to work to a very high level of accuracy

The Electronic Engineering Group consists of design engineers working on a diverse range of electronic disciplines supported by PCB layout and assembly groups. The successful applicant will work within the Electronics group Flight PCB assembly environment. The post is full-time. It is initially funded for two years and is expected to continue after this period pending funding.
