Duties: The Research Contracts Officer will take responsibility for the timely and efficient management of ICTM research contracts as well as provide advice and support to Academic and trial staff on contractual matters. S/he will be required to respond to and effectively manage conflicting demands, have a significant role in the contract process from drafting and negotiating right through to affecting the eventual contract signature. They will also be required to work closely in collaboration with colleagues within the Institute and across other departments within UCL. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play an influential role in the development of the contract service provision in ICTM
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least two years post qualification experience, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work effectively while under pressure, both independently as well as within a team. The role is ideally suited to an individual who is self-motivated and thrives in an environment where accuracy, hard work and flexibility are imperative

It is intended that the post-holder will independently manage their own allocation of research contracts. Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have at least two years post qualification experience, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work effectively while under pressure, both independently as well as within a team. The role is ideally suited to an individual who is self-motivated and thrives in an environment where accuracy, hard work and flexibility are imperative. Experience of working with academics/ scientists within a Higher Education, a research organisation, or similar environment, is desirable.
