Duties: The main purpose of the role is to provide administration support for the MBPhD programme and the REF (Research Excellence Framework) 2021 submission as well as general administration support for the Division of Medicine (DoM). The post holder will assist the Divisional Manager by undertaking administrative duties relating to the Division as a whole. Duties may include: organising and minuting meetings, administrative support for events, administrative support for teaching activities researching and collating information and provision of support to Heads of Departments as requested
Requirements: The post holder should hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C and above) and be educated to A level standard or have equivalent experience. The post holder must be able to work effectively in a busy office environment and have excellent organisation and communication skills. They should be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently without supervision and be able to use their initiative and be proactive in dealing with workloads. Ability to collate and report information is also key as are strong interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude
