Duties: You will be responsible for the coordination of comprehensive administrative services in support of learning and teaching activity at UCL Institute of Education, delivered through the Academic Programmes Office. You will coordinate administrative provision for both accredited and non-accredited teaching delivered by academic departments with Initial Teacher Education (ITE), in particular, overseeing the Secondary PGCE provision and Professional Services team affiliated with this programme
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background with a comprehensive understanding of HEI financial and administrative systems and procedures, and will work flexibly to meet the needs of the department. They must have excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills, be able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to manage several projects and tasks at the same time. They must be able to support a large administrative team and work collaboratively with key stakeholders within UCL to develop and enhance systems and processes. Previous experience in a similar role and environment is desirable

Programme Services Coordinators are part of the Academic Programmes Office and support the work of the Programme Service Manager. You will coordinate the day to day administrative work of a team of learning and teaching professional staff. You will work in collaboration with academic and professional colleagues from across the Institute to support a high quality service to students and stakeholders. You will make a contribution to the strategic direction, management and operation of the Academic Programmes Office, as appropriate. You will demonstrate good practice and the professionalism expected of the team through your own work.
