Duties: We are recruiting for a Fish Facility Technician to work with other members of the facility to facilitate the expansion and improvement of the UCL fish facility with particular emphasis on the husbandry and welfare of zebrafish (dani rerio). Duties include leading development and expansion of a health monitoring system including molecular and histological techniques of pathogen identification and to participate in the expansion and improvement of a fish husbandry and welfare training and education program
Requirements: BSc or equivalent in a life science subject is essential as is good understanding of fish biology, physiology, anatomy, genetics and diseases of fish
