Text: Trial Manager (Part time), - Ref:1793503 Click here to go back to search results Apply Now UCL Department / Division Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit Location of position London Grade 7 Hours Part Time Hours per week (%FTE) 21.9 hrs per week (60% FTE) Salary (inclusive of London allowance) ?35,328 - ?42,701 per annum Salary pro-rata for part time vacancies Duties and Responsibilities The Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit is a specialist unit set up within the Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology with a specific remit to design, conduct, analyse and publish clinical trials and other well-designed studies. The Comprehensive CTU is a registered CTU that provides clinical, statistical and trial operations leadership and facilitate the delivery of high quality, regulatory compliant clinical trials of both investigational medicinal products (IMPs) which must be conducted in compliance with the UK Regulations governing the conduct of clinical trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) and other non-IMP trials and studies. An enthusiastic, committed and professional individual is sought for the role of Trial Manager, which is based on the Bloomsbury campus, London. The primary role of the post holder is to set up and support a high quality advanced therapy clinical trial at the Comprehensive CTU. The post holder will be responsible to a Clinical Project Manager. This role is initially funded for two years, between 1 April 2019 until 31 March 2021. Key Requirements The successful applicant must possess a degree and/or equivalent experience in Clinical Trials, as well as a comprehensive understanding of UK Clinical Trials Regulations, ICH Good Clinical Practice, the European Directives on Clinical Trials and Good Clinical Practice and the Department of Health?s Research Governance Framework. Experience in setting up and maintaining effective administrative systems is also required. Experience in dementia research would be an advantage in this post.
