Duties: UCL’s Academic Services department is responsible for a range of key operations, including: institutional governance; academic policy and quality assurance; student data; examinations; and student casework. The Senior Casework Officer is responsible for overseeing the effective day-to-day operational management of UCL’s student complaints, appeals and disciplinary procedures; advising the Chair of the Complaints Panel on the outcome of complaints; and liaising with the Office of the Independent Adjudicator in respect of complaints from UCL students
Requirements: The successful applicant will require experience of ensuring compliance with policy and procedure, and good working knowledge and understanding of policies relating to complaints, academic appeals, and student conduct. The ability to deal with complex confidential situations with sensitivity and tact is essential
