Position: Senior Registry Officer - Admissions and Compliance

Duties: The post holder will manage all aspects of the smooth and efficient running of the admissions process (both graduate and undergraduate students) within the University, including scheduling interviews, supervising admissions helpers, managing the offer process, and ensuring an effective partnership with the Faculties during the Admissions process. The post holder will also ensure that admissions processes are OfS, QAA, DfE, OFSTED and GDPR compliant. In conjunction with the Head of Registry, the post holder will also manage the administration of the University Admissions process and ensure that this process is compliant with the University policy and procedures and national statutory requirements
Requirements: The successful applicant will be educated to a degree level or equivalent and have sufficient work experience in an administrative and/or operational environment, ideally within the higher education sector. A solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and web-based database systems is required. You must have the ability to create and interrogate databases, with excellent communication and customer service. You will also need to have outstanding organisational skills, and be comfortable in building relationships quickly and easily with people from a wide range of backgrounds. In addition, you must have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail (including when working under pressure), and a proven ability to successfully prioritise multiple competing demands and to work autonomously and with initiative when required

The post holder will manage all aspects of the smooth and efficient running of the admissions process (both graduate and undergraduate students) within the University, including scheduling interviews, supervising admissions helpers, managing the offer process, and ensuring an effective partnership with the Faculties during the Admissions process. The post holder will also ensure that admissions processes are OfS, QAA, DfE, OFSTED and GDPR compliant. In conjunction with the Head of Registry, the post holder will also manage the administration of the University Admissions process and ensure that this process is compliant with the University policy and procedures and national statutory requirements (i.e. the Equality Act, Data Protection Regulations). They will also update and maintain all necessary undergraduate and postgraduate Admissions information on University systems and take full responsibility for accuracy of all lists, databases and communications.
