Position: Research Assistant II

Duties: Clean-up, standardize, and format existing content for the BU Public History Program’s website; develop new content to round out the site’s offerings; ensure that the content producers in all cases receive proper attribution for their work; liaise with local museums and other public history venues to bolster existing partnerships and make new ones; work with designer and other collaborators to prepare the site for an end-of-summer launch; other related duties as assigned
Requirements: Able to read cursive script (handwriting). Able to type 40 words per minute. Familiarity and proven experience with historical research methods. Strong research and writing skills. Experience working with primary and secondary sources. Experience with the production of history products. Project coordination experience. Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Completion of at least two public history courses at BU
