Position: Alumni Events Assistant

Duties: The role will involve leading on our popular ‘Get Connected’ networking series, including sourcing and booking venues in Bath, London and elsewhere in the UK, recruiting and managing alumni volunteers and delivering the events. The Events Assistant is also responsible for oversight of the alumni reunion programme, leading on promotion to anniversary year groups and the coordination of a number of events, often at the same time. The post-holder may be expected to attend events that take place in the evenings or during the weekends, both in Bath and elsewhere in the UK
Requirements: Experience planning, promoting and managing a range of events for external audiences. Understanding of running large and small events. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience promoting events, particularly online. Strong understanding and fluency with multiple social media platforms. Friendly, positive attitude. Great attention to detail. Ability to work on a range of projects at any one time
