PhD in cancer biology, biochemistry, immunology or a related discipline. Strong evidence of a rising career trajectory demonstrated by strong publications in high-quality journals, awards, scholarships and/or involvement in research activities. Experience with animal handling and mouse models of disease (preferably cancer) and a strong awareness of their ethical treatment. Experience with techniques associated with protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and mammalian cell culture. Ability to co-ordinate a study from start to finish both independently and in collaboration with other laboratory personnel. Ability to be proactive and to use initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Excellent organisational skills coupled with the ability to complete detailed projects effectively and independently. Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and Prism. Strong commitment to the highest standards of scientific and ethical integrity and the ability to strictly adhere to study protocols. Excellent written and oral English-language communication skills. Knowledge of general laboratory OH&S procedures. Ability to meet agreed upon deadlines
