Physics 0500 examines the basic principles upon which the discipline of physics is founded. Requirements: Master's degree in a relevant field. Teaching Certificate or Instructor's Diploma. Experience teaching adults. Proven skills in building intercultural understanding, empathy and mutual respect. Demonstrated experience integrating Indigenous knowledge and teaching methods. Physics 0500 examines the basic principles upon which the discipline of physics is founded. In doing so, it provides students with a new perspective from which to view the world around them and with a solid content basis for future courses in physics should this be the objective. The course is oriented toward developing experimental and problem solving skills.
