The post-holder will be required to carry out research in the area of shape analysis including designing and running experiments, recording, analysing and writing up the results (as part of the SmartGeometry research team). The post holder is expected to lead research exploring garment simulation and geometry-based machine learning in order to develop scalable frameworks for interactive and plausible simulations and reconstructions of complex physical processes (e.g., interactive garment design, etc.). This post is funded for one year in the first instance.
