The role will be involved, primarily, with delivering and refining content for two postgraduate taught modules: Geographic Information Systems and Science and Digital Visualisation which run in terms 1 and 2, respectively. These modules are part of the core content for the MSc Smart Cities and Urban Analytics and MSc Spatial Data Science and Visualisation degrees. These modules are co-convened with other members of CASA staff. Wider duties will include supervising dissertation projects, supervising postgraduate teaching assistants, providing pastoral care to students, setting and marking coursework, attending committee meetings and taking on administrative duties. There may also be requirements to assist with teaching on other CASA modules as required by the Head of Department / Department Tutor. The applicant must be available to start teaching duties / supervision from May 2019.
