Duties: An enthusiastic, committed and professional individual is sought for the role of Clinical Project Manager for Data Science, which is based on the Bloomsbury campus, London. The primary role of the post holder is to establish, implement and support delivery of high quality clinical trials. The post holder would have the specific remit (approx. 2 days a week) to ensure data management in the CCTU is performed to the highest standards and meets GCP and other regulatory requirements. They will work with IT, Statistics and Clinical Operations to optimise data management systems
Requirements: The successful applicant must possess a postgraduate degree and/or equivalent experience in Clinical Trials, as well as a comprehensive understanding of UK Clinical Trials Regulations, ICH Good Clinical Practice, the European Directives on Clinical Trials and Good Clinical Practice and the Department of Health’s Research Governance Framework. Experience of working in a clinical trial regulatory environment is also required. Experience of staff supervision or line management would be required for this post as well as extensive use of Electronic Data Management Systems SQL and/or database set up experience would be an advantage

The Comprehensive CTU is a registered CTU that provides clinical, statistical and trial operations and facilitates the delivery of high quality, clinical trials of both investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and non IMPs. An enthusiastic, committed and professional individual is sought for the role of Clinical Project Manager for Data Science, which is based on the Bloomsbury campus, London. The primary role of the post holder is to establish, implement and support delivery of high quality clinical trials. The post holder would have the specific remit (approx. 2 days a week) to ensure data management in the CCTU is performed to the highest standards and meets GCP and other regulatory requirements. They will work with IT, Statistics and Clinical Operations to optimise data management systems. The post holder also has a role in the project management and support of trials. The post holder would be a member of the Clinical Operations Team and will report to the Head of Clinical Trial Operations. The post holder will lead the implementation and delivery of the Data Management Strategy, and work closely with the Clinical Project Managers to deliver CCTU projects. This post is funded from 1st May 2019 to 31 April 2021, in the first instance.
