Position: Property Pricing Senior Analyst
Institution: Placement through Fenchurch Associates
Location: London, United Kingdom
Duties: Work closely with management to develop pricing and underwriting strategies in order to identify profitable new business and growth opportunities. Work closely with underwriting and claims to identify insights that will be used to improve risk classification. Provide support in development, maintenance, and calibration of rating and portfolio management tools. Monitor rate, exposure, retention, new, lost business changes. Monitor loss trends and relevant industry/regulatory changes and effectively communicate to the management
Requirements: Candidates with several years of relevant actuarial experience preferred Credentialed member of a recognized actuarial society or working towards designation Proven proficiency in actuarial concepts and methodologies, including non-standard approaches Degree in Mathematics or related discipline Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work well both independently and as part of a team Expertise in Excel, Access, VBA, SAS, R, or other programming languages preferred Strong business and collaboration skills, and responsive to service needs and operational demands Effective time management skills Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

This key role will be highly visible, as you will have the opportunity to interact with and advise underwriting management. We are looking for an individual who is internally motivated, intellectually curious, has the ability to manage multiple priorities, and is driven to enhance existing processes.
